What is your background?
Mom, Publisher, Fiance, Medical Records. I currently work for an insurance company in medical records. My son has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and I am an advocate for special needs and Muscular Dystrophy awareness. I started publishing for a local family website 6 years ago.
Why did you decide to bring The Local Moms Network to your town?
I wanted to continue to be a go-to resource for parents and I wanted to cover my local area. I found The Local Moms Network with the help of a friend and from there it is all history. As a mom, this is exactly the kind of resource I would use and I wanted to be a part of it. I want to bring mom support, events, resources, and so much for to the community that I live and work in.
Where to entertain the entire family indoors/outdoors:
South Central PA is full of great indoor and outdoor entertainment. We love the local lakes, amusement parks, playgrounds and campgrounds for outdoor fun. We have many indoor entertainment venues as well – bowling, go-karts, movies, indoor play centers – a little something for everyone!

Our mission is to give moms the gift of time. What are your best time-saving tips/resources as a mom?
I am a planner. My children have been home (cyber school) and I have been working remotely since the pandemic started. My oldest daughter is a competitive dancer, my youngest daughter does martial arts and my son has many specialist visits throughout the year. I do use my phone calendar a lot but my biggest time saver is a planner. Something about actually writing down schedules (in different colors) for the family really helps to keep it all straight.
